Description
Inspired by the stained glass of St. Bartholomew’s Chapel in St. Stephen’s Cathedral (dated around 1390), these hanging glass ornaments refract light. When moved, the radiant colors work together to form ever-changing patterns. The objects were developed in cooperation with the Emmausgemeinschaft St. Pölten.
The Emmausgemeinschaft St. Pölten was founded in 1982 with the support of Caritas St. Pölten. The association for the integration of socially disadvantaged people operates a range of facilities at seven locations throughout St. Pölten. These include workplaces (e.g., glazing and carpentry workshops, etc.) for women, men, and young people.
