Anton Gerstner founded his confectionery in the heart of Vienna in 1847. Soon after, he was making his first deliveries to the nearby Imperial Court, where he made such an impression that he was awarded the title of “Imperial and Royal Court Supplier” in 1873. The Gerstner k.u.k. Hofzuckerbäckerei has now been delighting connoisseurs and gourmets from Vienna and around the world for 175 years.
