Description

With over 30,000 objects, the Wien Museum’s fashion collection is one of the largest in Europe and is a comprehensive documentation of clothing produced in Vienna. One example is chalupars, which are still fashionable today. A form of slippers crocheted from leftover wool, they keep the feet warm and exude a sense of coziness and hospitality.
